Share the Dignity Donation Drive
Mt Gravatt Plaza and Retail First Shopping Centres are once again partnering with Share the Dignity to run a donation drive for the collection of feminine hygiene products.
DID YOU KNOW:
Share the Dignity is an Australian women’s charity that works to end period poverty and ensure all who menstruate have access to period products.
There are over 100,000 Australian women and teenage girls who go without sanitary products every month due to homelessness, domestic violence and other adverse situations. Menstruating isn’t a choice, but those experiencing period poverty often have to choose between dignity and other essential items, including food.
HOW YOU CAN HELP:
When you’re next in-centre, pick up an extra sanitary item* or two from our Supermarkets or Chempro to donate and help Share the Dignity alleviate the undignified situations that women across the country endure.
Our pink donation boxes are conveniently located outside Coles & Woolworths/Chempro until Saturday 31 March, 2025.
WHAT CAN I DONATE:
Items that are accepted include:
❤️ Tampons
❤️ Pads
❤️ Liners
❤️ Maternity or incontinence pads
❤️ Period-proof or incontinence underwear
❤️ Menstrual cups
